PSA is a worldwide organization involved in educating and connecting people through photography. PSA acknowledges the importance of the worldwide community, with the growing number of the worldwide memberships who resides in more than 80 countries.

This September, PSA is proud to hold the 85th Annual PSA Photo Festival in Tucson, Arizona, USA. This conference/photo festival has been held continuously in different North American cities. In 2018 at the Board Meeting led by Elena Mc Tighe, the PSA President at that time, PSA international Relationships VP Agatha Bunanta suggested to have the PSA Photo Gathering outside North America. After thorough research and consideration from the core team, it was decided at the Fall 2021 PSA Board Meeting to hold the first ever PSA Photo Gathering 2023 outside of North America in Jaisalmer, the Golden city of India. The event was a resounding success, with 113 PSA members from 13 countries gathered for 8 days, 31st January 2023 – 7th February 2023. The participants had a full experience of Indian hospitality in luxury surroundings.

Following the success and experience gained in conducting the 1st PSA Photo Gathering 2023 in Jaisalmer, India, the second such event was planned and conducted successfully by a core team led by PSA international Relationships VP Agatha Bunanta in Java, Indonesia from 22nd to 29th July 2024. A total of 222 participants from 23 countries explored Java, the Land of Wonder, covering spectacular places, natural wonders and traditional Indonesian arts and cultures.

The next PSA Photo Gathering, PSA PG 2025 is scheduled to take place in Sri Lanka from 7th to 14th February 2025.

As the name of the event suggests, the main focus of the PSA-PG is the interaction with people. PSA-PG brings together many people of different backgrounds to learn about the culture of the host country of PSA-PG
